Chocolate making is a magical experience

When children are learning how to make chocolates, their faces light up
and they brim with joy. It’s a magical enough experience for adults, but
for children it’s like an entire world has opened up to them.

Get your hands into chocolate making

This Children’s Chocolate Making Class is a 1.5 hour hands on class in Marlborough, Wiltshire. These classes are taught by professional chocolatier, Amy Levin, from her home based professional kitchen. This class makes an excellent birthday party experience or simply a fun morning for the kids learning about a food they love. Children enjoy discovering the secrets of chocolate making and learning new, exciting skills.

What to expect…

Lots of tasters

There’s plenty of tasting throughout the class and the children will learn a little bit about flavour development and how to make their chocolate taste amazing with just a few pro tips. This is an experiential process of tasting and adjusting the recipe in real time, so they get the immediate understanding of how it all works.

Truffles

We’ll make some easy truffles that the kids will pipe into a silicone mould and, once set, they dip in chocolate and decorate them as they please using a variety of finishing touches available – this includes all natural sprinkles, chopped nuts, gold or silver powder or cocoa powder.

Chocolate Bars

The children will make chocolate bars that have the textures on the surface. These are fun to make and allow their creativity to run wild.

Take Aways

The children will take home a box of chocolates, made by them!

All chocolates are dairy, wheat, gluten and refined sugar free.
